ODocS : a systematic documentation of odontoscopy

For documentation of odontoscopy, a systematic storage of the digital images is necessary in a form which is well-known from other dental treatment application programs. Therefore, by using ODocS, odontoscopic images can be stored with reference to the dental chart. This is performed by application of a framegrabber directly from the endoscopic camera.

	In the patient database, personal data, such as anamnesis, diagnosis, and findings, are stored. It can easily be exported to a standard form using MS Word, which contains all necessary information for the referring dentist.
An endoscopic camera can be connected via a standard Windows(C) interface . The ODocS software then immediately provides an online image, which can be related to the dental chart by using a simple capture function. The images are subsequently stored in the database and are directly related to the corresponding patient.
